We procure wild-harvested rosehips from a network of rural suppliers across Lesotho. Depending on the stage of the harvest season, the material received may be fresh (wet), partially dried (moist), or fully sun-dried.
Suppliers are compensated accordingly, in alignment with fair trade best practices and seasonal quality considerations.
All incoming rosehips are carefully crated to prepare them for further processing. This stage allows for visual inspection of the raw material and enables efficient handling and movement through subsequent processing steps.
Rosehips are dried in electronically controlled drying chambers, ensuring stable and consistent moisture reduction. This controlled process is critical to preserving product quality and preventing degradation.
Our dried rosehips meet a moisture specification of below 10%, in line with industry standards.
Dried whole rosehips are stored in bulk bags under controlled conditions prior to further processing. Processing is carried out based on specific client requirements, allowing for flexibility across product formats and specifications..
The first stage of bulk processing involves separating the rosehip fruit into shell and seed.
The shell component is further processed into:
• Rough Cut
• Tea Bag Cut
• Fine Powder
We supply wholesale rosehip seeds for clients who require raw material for further processing, including oil extraction and other applications.
Our rosehip powder is processed to meet the requirements of the cosmetic and health supplement industries. It can be tailored to different particle sizes depending on application.
We produce high-quality cold-pressed rosehip seed oil using our own processing capabilities. This ensures full traceability and quality control from raw material to finished product.
We package whole rosehips, shells, and seeds according to client specifications. Packaging formats are flexible to accommodate different market and logistics requirements.
Finished products are stored in our 500 m² warehouse facility under controlled conditions.
All outbound shipments are accompanied by batch traceability documentation, ensuring full transparency and quality assurance throughout the supply chain.
