Organo-Vite (Pty) Ltd is a family-owned company based in the mountainous Kingdom of Lesotho. We are the only family owned Lesotho-based operation that fully integrates conventional rosehip procurement, processing, and final product manufacturing under one roof.
Our journey began with a single procurement and drying facility, laying the foundation for what has grown into a vertically integrated business rooted in local expertise and long-standing relationships with rural harvesting communities.
Today, Organo-Vite operates the largest rosehip processing facility in Lesotho. Our infrastructure includes dedicated procurement sites, a drying and stock warehouse, and a fully equipped processing plant.
The facility spans approximately 1,800 m² and has the capacity to process between 900 and 1,500 metric tons of rosehip annually, allowing us to meet consistent supply demands at scale while maintaining quality control throughout the value chain.
We manage the full logistics chain, from wild harvesting in remote villages to delivery at our processing facility.
Our in-house fleet—ranging from 1-ton vehicles to heavy-duty 4–6 ton trucks—ensures reliable collection across challenging terrain. By maintaining and operating our own logistics network, we retain control over efficiency, traceability, and timing during peak harvest periods.
Quality is monitored at every stage of production. Our team conducts regular in-house sampling and testing throughout the processing cycle to ensure consistency and compliance with client specifications.
Where additional verification is required, we partner with accredited South African laboratories to provide independent testing and certification.
Over the past decades, Organo-Vite has supplied more than 6 million kilograms of rosehip products to clients across various markets. Our longevity reflects a consistent commitment to reliability, quality, and long-term partnerships..
Social development is integral to our business model. Through our operations, we actively support rural livelihoods by creating income opportunities for harvesting communities.
In addition, we contribute to local development initiatives, including the improvement of school infrastructure and support for adult education programs, helping to build stronger, more resilient communities.
